The Origin: From Solo Flight to Global Planner
The journey of Travel The World With Renee® began not with a business plan, but with a singular moment of personal bravery: my first solo flight from Houston to Los Angeles in 1984. This two-month trip ignited a passion for travel—but it quickly became clear that a dream this big required a serious plan.
In 1986, I made the deliberate decision to enlist in the United States Navy. My 20-year military career became the ultimate training ground for intentional, detailed travel. Within a year, I was immersed in Europe, navigating and engaging with the rich cultures of Italy, France, Spain, and Turkey.
I seized every opportunity to fulfill my aspiration of global exploration. This led me to venture across North, South, and Central America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. I've proudly traversed six Seas and touched four Oceans, truly embracing the vastness and diversity of our planet. This career gifted me two things critical to a Travel Life Coach:
